Jim Cooke

Jim Cooke owns a film production company and has been making short films for over 18 years. He specialises in covering music festivals and tours, creating behind the scenes documentaries and films and has worked with some of the worlds greatest artists from Rod Stewart to Tom Jones, George Ezra to Little Mix. He also has worked for brands including Amazon, Spotify, Live Nation and Royal Caribbean. Jim has an eye for film making and telling stories and loves to watch films as well as create them. He loves to see passion and ingenuity in people’s work and looks forward to seeing the offering from everyone.

David Barnes

David is an International Emmy award winning filmmaker working in documentary and drama, producing emotionally engaging stories with cinematic production values. Recent credits include one hour documentaries; Young, Gifted & Broke for Channel 4 and For Folk’s Sake – Morris Dancing & Me for BBC4. David has a passion for analysing character driven narratives and understanding why they work – or don’t. He is the recipient of other accolades including a Prix Jeunesse, Japan Prize UNICEF Award, a Rockie and three Children’s BAFTA nominations.

Emily Johnson

Emily is a freelance floor runner working within the AD department on both film and television. Her role involves working closely with the cast, assisting the 1st Assistant Director and helping to communicate with everyone on set. Emily’s film credits include: Four Weddings and a Funeral, Men in Black, Aladdin, Paddington, Artemis Fowl and Bohemian Rhapsody. Emily has also worked on Call the Midwife, Victoria, The Biggest Little Railway in the World and The Grand Tour.

Emily has also directed two short films, one of which was presented at an exhibition at the Aesthetica Film Festival in York.
